Jared Leto Auctions off $1 Million Guitar TO Ukrainian Refugees

Jared Leto recently announced he will be auctioning off a guitar he used for downtime on the Morbius release tour to Ukrainian refugees in Poland. The 30 Seconds to Mars star and actual cult leader has decided that his guitar, worth around $1 million dollars, would be a welcome distraction from the destruction of Ukraine's homeland. The auction will be held in the capital city of Poland, which has taken in well over 2 million refugees since the invasion started.

“I really think I’m doing the right thing here,” Leto said with a smile. “I was watching the news about Ukraine, and it had me just heartbroken. So, I asked myself, `what could I do for these refugees?’ Then I answered myself in true Jared fashion, ‘give them an opportunity to own a piece of maroon memorabilia!’ I give myself great advice.” When asked about the logistics of auctioning something to people recently displaced from their homes, Leto explained, “We totally understand things are crazy for a lot of people right now and they may have trouble accessing their bank-held assets. For this reason, we have decided to accept multiple forms of cryptocurrency, including the newest coin on the blockchain: LetoCoin™.”

Leto continued (without prompt and almost too slowly), “I’m really excited for these folks. One lucky person is going to be able to express their dismay at losing their home on the same guitar that played ‘The Kill.’ I think it really speaks to the transcendental quality of music. That’s another reason why what I’m doing is so good for these people. I think that giving them an opportunity to own my guitar is like giving them an opportunity to own a piece of my soul, a very beautiful soul, and that soul may then transfer to their soul and then their soul could be pretty like my soul and then they could play music to inspire their fellow Ukrainians in a time of strife. I cannot wait to see their grateful smiles.”

“Well…it’s a guitar,” one Ukrainian refugee stated.

The auction is scheduled for June 23rd, Ukrainian Independence day. 30 Seconds to Mars is expected to perform beforehand with food, drinks, and 30 Seconds to Mars Merch to be provided to attendees at regular break-the-bank pricing. Echelon, his cult, will also have a recruitment table next to that of the Ukrainian military. Tickets for the concert are currently on sale for $120 on Ticketmaster.
