An Eggplant Exclusive: Perla’s Response to the Housing Controversy

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Perla Apartments announced in an email to students that move-in would be delayed indefinitely. This led to a massive uproar within the local community. Many students were displaced and forced to either stay on friends' couches or spend money on a hotel. The Eggplant was able to get into contact with upper management. Here is their official statement on the matter:

“WE AWE WEALLY SOWWY. WE DIDN’T EXPWECT STUDENTS TO BE SO FWEAKING MAD AT US. WAAAAAAAAAAAAH. WAAAAH. WE WEALLY AWE WEALLY SORRY. PWEAAAASE FOWGIVE US WE AWE SO SORRY WEALLY WE PWOMISE.  WAAAAH. WE AWE JUST A SMALL BABY. WAAAH WAAH. August and September rent and all other fees applying are still expected to be paid by all tenants, returning and those who have broken their lease <3. BUT WE AWE STILL WEALLY SORRY PWEASE STILL WIVE WITH US.” 

No further comments were made to The Eggplant.
