Friends Hang Out Without You, Have A Blast

On Saturday night, 28-year-old George Lois, in his lonesome, sat on the couch trying to decide what to play in the background while doomscrolling. After landing on The Great British Baking Show, again, he picked up his phone to open Instagram. That’s when he clicked on his best friend Zach’s (@zach4reallll) story to see everyone in the group chat enjoying an intimate night of board games and drinks. Zach’s video panned around the room, showing all of his friends doubled over in laughter, throwing back beers with sheer joy on their faces.

George reportedly watched the Instagram story eighteen times. 

“He sent a text in the group chat,” a source close to George told The Eggplant. “Saying something like, ‘Why would you guys hang out without me?’ and ‘I’m hurt,’ bullshit like that. And it’s not like he did anything, it’s just always better when he’s not there.”

George’s friends allegedly responded to his heartfelt message by telling him they thought he already had plans, and that it sort of just happened.
