FSU Barbershop Quartet To Expand From Strozier Performances to Landis Green
TALLAHASSEE, FL — An up-and-coming student-led barbershop quartet is scheduled to make their Landis Green debut on Mar. 28. The quartet, titled The Four Skins, has made a few appearances around campus since the start of the school year. However, they have usually been spotted performing in Strozier Library when nobody around them gives a shit.
“This expansion is really big for us,” says Arthur Howell, leading tenor and founder of The Four Skins. “Moving from Strozier to Landis means so much for getting people to appreciate a cappella. We got a lot of hits lined up, too. FSU’s gonna love it.”
As of right now, the quartet’s setlist includes smash hits such as “Hello! Ma Baby,” “Shipoopi,” and “Shipoopi (Pentatonix’s Version),” where nothing changes except the key is raised a half-step and the baritone beatboxes behind the original arrangement.
