“First Day on Earth” Convention Held on Legacy Walk During Market Wednesday

TALLAHASSEE, FL – In addition to the weekly Market Wednesday festivities at FSU, the university will be holding a new event: the First Day on Earth Convention. It will officially be at the exact same time and location as Market Wednesday, blessing the student body with the fruitful opportunity of clogging the walkway like it’s a retirement home on Bingo Night.

The convention will offer a variety of fun activities, including standing directly in the middle of Legacy Walk, strategically avoiding eye contact with vendors at the RSO booths, and the iconic “Let’s-All-Walk-at-0.4-Miles-an-Hour” game. As a bonus, attendees may also have the opportunity to get violently run the fuck over by an impatient scooter. If you’re not already good at ankle-breaking juke maneuvers to dodge these unsuspecting obstacles, now’s the time to get your practice in!
