Tommy Castellanos Torn Between Football and Budding Musical Theater Career

“Football is YOUR dream, Dad!” exclaimed FSU quarterback Tommy Castellanos in a recent off season interview. His father was not present. Off the field, Castellanos has been making waves in the School of Theatre and wider FSU community. “I accidentally walked into auditions for Footloose and they asked me to, like, sing and stuff.” His rendition of Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” blew the casting directors away. He was immediately cast in the lead role. He is expected to encounter many trials and tribulations that could potentially be channeled through song during the spring semester. It is unknown if he will be playing football in the fall.
